Well this is something no one was able to explain me until now 🥹 These days I go straight to digital printing where CMYK isn't an issue, but when dealing with publishers and commercial printing it is best to cater to their technicalities first. I guess it is easier to adjust colors from a CMYK source to a RGB one if need be, than vice versa. Thanks 🐷

Yes, I never work from RGB. I guess if I do web comics, it might be a little different. But I mostly work on print stuff, so my default is CMYK. :-)

I like your approach to color. I'm not quite as meticulous and organized as you are when it comes to manually entering color codes. I also try to avoid adding "black" when I'm picking out a dark color. Typically, I just choose the color visually, as numbers tend to confuse me too much! LOL

Oh, no. I also choose color visually when I pick my initial color palette, but I'll then take a look at each color's color code and match that to colors where K is set at 0. This is something I do only for graphic novels. :-) (Back when I worked as a full-time designer, I did see colleagues who would enter color codes. It was very cool to see how everyone does things differently.) :-)
